Fear of the Nicodemus approach

As a lay Dominican I find myself often feeling like Nicodemus, knowing the Truth of Christ, yet not knowing how I should translate that knowlegde into action. I have experienced too many intellectual Catholics who understand much in theory erbut really can 't be bothered with being a witness to the Faith. I want to be truly Dominican and pray that I can achieve the balance of study and contemplation and share the fruits in a way that actually helps another soul

Could this be the Face of God?

The picture below, is from the painting of Armenian artist Pasquale Ariel Agemian, inspired by, and according to some (with whom I completely agree) a brilliant positive image of the Shroud of Turin. If you believe the Shroud is authentic, then this may be closest we will come to a portrait of Christ. [Of course, the Catholic Church has no official position on whether the Shroud is authentic or not.]

By the way, the Shroud will be on exposition this year -- tickets still available!
